In addition to her work as a performer, Helen Cawthorne is active in a range of educational spheres. She teaches at the Junior Academy of the Royal Academy of Music, giving individual piano tuition and coaching chamber ensembles; as a Lecturer in Performance Studies she teaches piano to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Southampton, and for the ABRSM she has travelled worldwide as a member of the diploma examiners’ panel and a presenter of teachers’ seminars.
